John is a true professional. He did an urgent after hours call and repaired a wiring issue and an incorrect breaker that a home inspector and an electrical inspector missed in the past. He has a great attention to detail and an eye for safety. Highly recommend.

John did an excellent job rewiring the main level of our house. This included removing a 100 Amp service panel and installing a 200 Amp panel. The quality of John's work is such that on every occasion he's worked for us, the inspector has signed off on the work without doing an on-site survey. They know that his work will meet building code requirements the first time. Thanks, John!

I messaged OEW to inquire on adding three potlights to my garage exterior. John messaged me back within 15minutes. John then came by in-person to provide a quote and was able to complete the job that day in 3hrs.

We recently purchased a new home and it had an outdated panel with a horrendous wiring job bordering on being hazardous. There were also couple of outdoor outlets that did not have a proper GCFI protection, which we wanted to replace. We looked around for some local electricians in our area and decided to go with John. He was very friendly and thorough in his explanation, from the work that needs to be done, what will dictate the timeline of the work, as well as the total cost for the work, which was clearly stated out from the onset. After some discussion with him, we decided to go with him, and that we'll also upgrade our panel from a 100 A to 200 A for future-proofing.
A very good choice as it turns out. John and his colleague removed the old panel and the backing and replaced them with a much sturdier backing and a good Siemens panel, then finished the work with a much cleaner and safer-looking wiring job around the panel. The outdoor outlets were replaced with GCFI outlets complete with a proper covering. While I was around, John explained to me the various peculiarities he found with the electrical work and what it meant for me and the panel, giving me a peace of mind in the work that was being done. They also went out of their way to ensure that everything was properly labeled on the panel, going through the house to check each outlet and matching them to the breaker on the panel. All of it was done just in the nick of time for us to move into our new home without having to worry about not having power. We've now been living at this house for several days without experiencing any hiccups to the power.
All in all, my partner and I feel safe in the knowledge that we now have a new electrical panel that was installed in such a professional manner. We'll call John and OEW again if we run into any electrical problems or if we have any electrical projects we want to do in the future, and we'd be happy to recommend him and his company to others with similar issues or projects in mind.

I chose John and OEW strictly based on his online reputation and he lived up to it. Very professional, kind and honest with explaining the work required. We completely remodelled our kitchen, added an island and a separate coffee bar. This was a big job and each section needed designated electrical. We removed old hanging lights, dropped 2 pendants and added 4 dimmable pot lights and under-the-counter lighting. Finally we wanted to add a hood fan above the range and learned we needed a plug installed above into the bulkhead. We are so pleased with all the work of John and recommend him for your project.
