I was totally impressed with Luis and his teams skill and attention to detail in resurfacing my pool and would give them more stars if possible.
My pool was built by Kingfish and within months of completion, the Diamondbrite finish discolored and extensive cracks began forming everywhere. They claimed this was typical but it simply looked awful. I ignored its condition for a couple of years until I finally decided to have the entire pool resurfaced. I spoke with a couple of pool companies, who measured and either didn't follow through with a quote or sent a quote with an attached terms and conditions sheet that would easily have driving up the costs and one that no one in their right mind would have agreed to.
I located Baldos and asked Luis to quote my pool. He provided a concise quote inclusive of all costs, with realistic terms, and a firm commitment on dates. I have a mid-century home and the pool area is hard to access and surrounded by lush landscape, so I was concerned with damage to my home and landscaping.
I work from home so watched their team put up draping to protect my plants, cover all surrounding hardscape, and go out of their way to protect anything that could be impacted. They were extremely clean during the job and afterwards, leaving my back yard in pristine condition with absolutely no damage at all. The were true craftsmen, not even chipping any of my expensive glass border within the pool. The end result is exactly what I wanted and the pool looks amazing. I choose to upgrade to add the glass beads within the coating as Luis recommended and am very glad that I did.
After completing the pool, they returned each week to check the chemicals and ensure the surface cured properly, eventually resalting my pool and balancing all chemicals.
My compliments all the way. These guys are first class.

From day one, this company was honest, upfront and the crew was very professional and courteous. We highly recommend them. I am so pleased with not only the quality of the work performed and the speed at which Baldos completed the job but more importantly the friendly professionalism, and outstanding customer service they provided. They were very attentive to helping me select the tile, plaster color and lighting which can be very stressful as these were very import decision to make. Their goal was to give me exactly the look I wanted. I would very highly recommend Baldos to anyone looking to make repairs or, like me, get an entirely new beautiful look I couldn’t be happier with the outcome! (Photos are daytime and nighttime)

We originally built our pool right before Hurricane Katrina hit which of course filled New Orleans and our brand new pool with dirty flood water. Out pool's original plaster was ruined. We hired a company to re-plaster the pool but either the process or materials were sub-standard and we soon had issues with the plaster. Discouraged, we lived with the poor job for several years but it eventually it became so bad we decided to have it re-plastered again. We asked around and Baldos Pool Plastering was recommended again and again as the best company to do the work. We met with Luis Baldos who presented us with several material options along with prices and pros/cons of each. We agreed to have them do the work and could not be more pleased with the quality and color of the plaster.
Later in 2023, due to the extreme drought, we had an issue with one of the skimmers leaking due to the ground sinking. We hired Baldos' crew to repair the skimmer. They were able to remove the coping material in one piece that was grouted over the skimmer which was no small feat and saved us from having purchase more of it.
Luis and his employees are great to work with. They do exceptional work, on time and for the amount agreed upon with no surprises. My wife and I are very happy customers and highly recommend them.

Luis and his team are EXCELLENT in every way. They plastered my pool as well as added lights and fountains. Their quality was 1st. class and all the crew were 100% professional. I recommend them 100% and will only use Baldos Pool for any work on my pool in the future. Thanks guys for a job well done

We had a great experience having Baldos re-surface our 14 year old pool with the Wet Edge Luna Quartz (color: Martinique). Luis (Louis) was very knowledgeable about all aspects of pools and pool equipment. During the initial pool renovation evaluation, Luis also recommended other pool repairs and upgrades, that we had not even considered. Everything was completed within the time estimate that he originally provided. Baldos was able to provide a total turn key solution something that most other pool renovators could not. We highly recommend Baldos. They are head and shoulders above the competition!
