Got an initial quote that needed a little more from the subcontractor, while I had an active leak. They couldn't be bothered with following up. I went with a local company in York SC. Will not use these people or another large national company.

The roof is fine, however this company caused damage to my home and my car. While working they broke my fence, parked on my lawn leaving ruts they offered me a small concession for these issues which is fine. However, the bigger issue is their employee hitting my new car with theirs. I have missed time from work, have had to come out of pocket for repairs and rental vehicles, and this company has the audacity to harass me because I will not pay the balance until their employees insurance company reimburses me for all my expenses. Not to mention the time I have had to mis work to get estimates, drop and pick up my car and rental cars. Maybe if their employees weren’t smoking weed while working, this all could have been avoided.
Above is original post. Branch manager never reached out , as promised. Instead I receive letter stating they are putting Lien on my property. I still haven’t been reimbursed for all the money I put out for rentals and everything else. This company has waisted so much of my time, and caused depreciation to my property that they probably owe me money at this point, but Iam being treated as a criminal for their employee’s carelessness. If I could give negative stars on this experience I would.

I had to get a roofing contractor as my roof began leaking. Just around the time I was going to begin the look for a contractor, Amanda Staneart from Best Choice Roofing stopped by. I told her that I needed to get the roof replaced but didn't know how much it cost and if we got insurance involved, would they raise my rates? Amanda assured me she would speak to them and it would not cost any more than my deductible. We have solar panels on the roof so it would undoubtedly be more money to have them removed and replaced. To make a long story short, Amanda spoke to the insurance company and had someone out there to inspect the roof in a day or two. We had hail damage and so everything was covered by insurance. Since it was an "Act of God", my rates will not be raised. They did the job in one day and things went so well, we had them do the same thing on our son's house down the street.

I observed the working in progress and was totally pleased with what I had seen all safety precautions We're met And the people took their time to ensure work was done correctly Plus they did a great clean up when they were all finished. This company deserves 5 stars

Mr. Lawrence Burger was amazing. This man worked diligently with my insurance company and got my roof replaced. He was the first person I had out to look at my roof who was willing to try to work with insurance. He spent months on this but he got it done .I could not have asked for better in customer service . Thanks to him I would recommend this company to anyone I know who needs a roof . Thank you again Lawrence

Actual rating from me is a 4.7, but in this case (since google doesn’t allow split ratings) I feel it is absolutely fair in rounding up to a 5; and to me 5’s are reserved for stellar service. Absolute king of the show for this one was the salesman, Lawrence Burger. Incredibly responsive, conscientiousness in the level of service he brings before, during and after the fact and displays a level of laid back professionalism that is both rarely seen but should be the norm. From the beginning of the process and the time spent, inspecting, reviewing and presenting what was offered by Best Choice, I feel he walked the "advocate" line between customer (me) and the business he works for incredibly appropriately and with care. The follow up after the install has been just as good. Inspecting the work done and finding the little things that matter down the road and working to get them corrected as they should be. It genuinely feels his goal is 100% customer satisfaction, not only in saying but also in doing. He earned a 5 star rating on his own. The installation crew did a superb job. The roof looks wonderful and was completed in one long day. They anticipated things in the installation that I would not have considered; and potentially have fixed a few other things that were not directly roof related, but when that type of job is properly done and attention to detail is there with a crew that knows what they are doing - the outcome is clean, professional in look and install, and dependable. Again though, this level of service should be the norm for the entire process. My only issues (and they were small) was there seemed to be a slight disconnect on the production communication side in a few instances as the day unfolded for installation(minor), and there seemed to be a slight rush for sign off and payment after the job was completed (roofers done at 7:30 PM - and then contacted for sign off and payment before 9 AM the next morning). Small things but they have an effect on the overall experience; in the end they were handled in a fair, efficient way and were ultimately fine. All in all, fantastic job from this company as a whole and recommend them highly.

Amanda did a great job and was very helpful in getting our new roof installed after a storm. She made the process easy from start to finish. BCR was simple to work with.

Best Choice Roofing is the epitome of professional. Our salesman was wonderful, but Lynee was out of this world. She worked with us on scheduling. Processed all of our insurance paperwork with very little effort on our part.
When we had questions she set aside the time to explain the numbers and the process.
The roofing crew was on time, professional, and quick. Our new roof was put on in a day without a single nail left in our yard.
The entire process flowed like a well oiled machine and was executed perfectly. Thank you Lynee for being so wonderful. I feel as though I have a new friend.
