We had the kitchen cabinets refaced, new countertops and backsplash. Jon Michael did a great job of selling the family history and commitment to quality. The installation experience was terrible as Casey was mean, angry and disrespectful of our spaces, they started a fire on the stove, installed the microwave incorrectly and really didn’t care. The quality of the installation was also pretty bad with visible gaps, missing parts, damage to walls and ceiling etc., I tried to talk to Mercedes in the office about 2 days in and she was not open to any feedback, giving the impression that we were stuck with what we had. I had originally given a 1-star review. After reading it, Jon Michael called, came over and put together a plan to remediate everything. He found even more quality issues than what we had identified. A few weeks later, 2 guys came back and fixed most of the items, trying to make things right. We really appreciate the owners caring about our experience and hope that they have addressed these issues so that no one has to go through it again. If Royce had come with Garrett initially, we believe strongly that this would have been a 5 start review.

We selected Arizona Cabinet Refacing to redo our very dated kitchen cabinets. Although, it took patience waiting our turn on the schedule, it was worth it. They did an amazing job. That’s a lot coming from me. I’m a perfectionist about everything around me. I did do a lot of daily cleanup after the crew left, but it was only a total of 7 days and they were only here part of each day. I couldn’t be happier with the talent of the installation crew. We had a phenomenal experience with AZ Cabinet Refacing - if you’re looking to update your kitchen, they’ll do an outstanding job.

We bought an older house in summer 2021 and the kitchen was TIRED. The cabinets were plain white and the thermofoil was peeling off. We liked the layout of the kitchen but didn’t want to spend the money to replace the cabinets (knowing it would take forever to get the work done because of COVID).

I found AZ Cabinet refacing online and Jon-Michael came out within a week to walk us through the process, finish options and initial estimate. They were about 40% less than replacing the cabinets would have cost, even with painted wood cabinet doors and trim, and the timeline was quoted as 4 months.

Jon-Michael came out about 8 weeks later for a detailed final measurement and let us know things were running a little slower than usual because of COVID.

It took an extra 6 weeks bit they kept us updated and Kasey, the installer was scheduled to come out and begin the process in April. Kasey did an exceptional job - he removed the old doors, measured and cut the veneer and installed the new doors and trim in about 7 days. Every day he left the kitchen spotless and cleaned up the patio where he was working so his tools weren’t in the way.

The finished kitchen looks better than we expected - between the quality of the painted wood doors and Kasey’s craftsmanship, there’s no way to know that we only replaced the doors. It looks like a brand new kitchen.

They took care of everything and made the process painless. We had 1 small issue with a missing trim piece that Mercedes in the office stayed on top of so a great team all around.

It’s been 6 months since the cabinets were refaced and we’re still surprised at how much better the kitchen looks.

From start to finish, we have had outstanding quality and professionalism from this company for our new kitchen remodel of our cabinets. We had AZ Cabinet Refacing construct new and additional deeper cabinets (15" vs 10" deep) and had the lower cabinets refaced while also having additional lower cabinetry built. We had no idea how this project would change the look to our kitchen. The cabinets are absolutely beautiful and high end and we couldn't have asked for anything more. We had somewhat of a delay due to supply chain product issues however no one could have predicted the magnitude of how that affected all service industries. We also were able to work with their counterparts for our new countertops which went smoothly and had reasonable prices - Thank you John and your crew from Sunwest Granite! We were able to contact both AZ Cabinet Refacing and Sunwest Granite and were given updates when requested as to when to expect our remodel to commence. We had our cabinets refaced 14 months ago and they did an excellent job. I was so happy with my new kitchen. However, in the last few months the paint started cracking. So I called them to make repairs. They agreed and ended up doing some sanding and repainting to repair the cracks. I am happy with the work and mostly very appreciative that the company stands behind their work. They promise that if I have any further issues they will continue to back their refacing product.

When we started looking for kitchen cabinet refacing, we
approached one of the local big DIY stores, which was having a
special. They came and measured and we received an estimate
of ~$16,000. That estimate did not include new drawer boxes or
wrapping the island and there was a limited number of wood
surfaces available.

Next, we contacted Arizona Cabinet Refacing Company (ACRC).
They are a small locally-owned operation in Surprise. Their
estimate: ~$9,000. The estimate included dovetail drawer
boxes, soft-close hinges, under-cabinet surfaces, a tall center
cabinet over the microware (which is above the stove), finished
molding below the cabinets, crown molding above the cabinets,
and wrapping the island. They have a nearly unlimited selection
of wood finishes and hardware. The installation went without
any delays. The doors are fabricated in California and finished
here in Arizona.

It turns out that they have been in business for over 40 years,
mostly in New York, but here, now. They did a great job.
