I hired AS for an ISP.
While they were quite busy at the time and had to come and go a few times, it was an overall painless process. I found AS easy to work with. Pricing was fair and communication was great.

We had a wonderful experience with American Surveys. Everyone in the office was so patient and helpful. Dropped what they were doing on 3 different occasions to help us as we were under a time constraint. We would highly recommend American Surveys to anyone!

The guys who did the survey were prompt, professional, knowledgeable and hard working. The Office Staff is so nice and pleasant to deal with. I would 100% use them again, not even a question. The negative reviews seem to want something for nothing. Great local business with a heart of gold and nice as apple pie. Call them up and see for yourself. Top notch in my book!

I hired American Survey to a survey for a home purchase. I was quoted $1100 for the work. They were extremely slow and did not have it ready for the closing so the title company said they would take an ILS instead. It was provided the day of to the title company and we were billed $600 in the closing. We never received the stamped copy of the survey or the ILS and received a bill for addition $3000. I talked to Bob the owner and he agreed to an additional $600 for the survey and he would supply the stamped copy of the survey. I gave him the check and I never got the survey and they will not release it unless I pay the ridiculous amount they are billing for. So $1200 and no product, they are thieves and liars, do not use this company or you will be sorry!

I agree with Elegant Walls Colorado. This company is unethical. Shop around and find someone else. I hired them to complete an ILS. The property boundaries needed to be surveyed so the county could see the fence was within the boundaries. American Surveys did not put the entire fence on the ILS like they were hired to do. So the county will not permit the fence. American Surveys now wants an additional $500 to mark a 15 foot segment of fence-- when I already paid them for this with the initial ILS. Bob the owner of the company is difficult to work with. I would listen to the other reviewers and find someone else to do your survey. The job/permit will get delayed and cost you lots of wasted money if you use this company.

These guys have done multiple surveys for me, all reasonably priced and reasonably timely. No issues with them at all. They can be hard to reach by phone, but they promptly return voicemails and emails. They do good work and readily provide stamped copies and DWG files of their work.
