We have used 227-RENT in Rehoboth Beach for a number of years. They always come through, delivering the items we ordered at the right time and place. We get bed and bath and kitchen linens every summer. And when we needed it, we got a very nice crib, crib linens, baby gates and toys. I recommend using them. I will continue to do so.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. My daughter called this place for her once in a life time event, her wedding day, she was having a beach wedding and called for 50 chairs. She spoke and confirmed with them the day before letting them know we would be there decorating at 5pm sharp. Not only did they not show up, we called several times to then hear a message that the location was closed. It was a nightmare. We had family members including elderly people standing waiting for these chairs! Last minute we had to run to a beach shop and buy blankets for everyone to have a place to sit! An extra expense as well! We never received a call from them. And when my daughter called and let the person know about the incident, he kept saying they were delivered! the audacity!! We were there early and stayed till almost 9pm and absolutely no one delivered anything!!! He then followed up with delivery drivers to find out himself that they did not deliver those chairs. My daughter did not receive an apology either! Do not rent from here! Especially for any special occasion!!

Communication is worst when they are talking to customer, they talk like threatening me. they need to deliver the forklift 8:00 am when I booked. When the day came they told they don’t do the 8:00 am delivery. Now they just tell you to either cancel or wait. I don’t know what kind of customer service is this. When they take order they talk one way and actual day comes every thing changes. Never have to rent from this place again. If any one want to save time and energy please dont rent from them. It’s waste not even worth. Worst customer service I have ever seen.

I rented a chainsaw. It worked great for about 2 hours then when I had trouble starting it I called for assistance. They were very helpful over the phone. When I still couldn't start it they sent a service person out to my house promptly. The service guy got it going & taught me a few key things. Everyone was very helpful and very nice. The worst customer service I have ever had, except for Joe. Joe should be running the company. From the moment I walked in I had a bad feeling. The older man at the counter was rude, miserably unfriendly with no customer service or work ethic skills. My 82 year old mother's basement was flooded following a torrential rainfall. I was so stressed about it and knew I had to get the water up quickly. Went to Grand Rental Station to rent a shop vac. The older rude man handed me a receipt and told me to pull around back and get the machine. The people in the warehouse were unfamiliar with what to give me. Turns out they gave me parts to two different types of machines which did not fit together. This I found out after lugging it down several steps to the basement. I called and got the rude man again who told me I had to load up the machine and bring it back so they could give me the correct parts. I told him that was unreasonable and I asked to speak to someone else. Finally Joe came over, discovered the error and called to get additional parts. By this time 2 hours had gone by. Joe went out of his way to be helpful. He got the machine going between taping parts together, etc. He helped me clean up the mess. By this time it was close to 5:00 and I had to get the machine back. Since I live a great distance away, there was no way I could travel back the next day just to return the piece of !#*! I rented. The older rude man told me I would have to bring it back the next day, he would not wait even though I explained it would only be about 5:15 when I got there. He wouldn't budge. Things got ugly and finally he said "just bring it back"!!! When I got there he was gone but guess who was there after hours to help me..... yep... JOE!!
