My family purchased a new home that was much larger and an entirely different style than the home we were leaving after 17 years. Allison helped us identify which furniture we could take with us and made suggestions about how best to use it in our new home - not always in the same room/same way. Over the past year we have selected a few rooms at a time to focus on and gradually our new home is becoming just that - a home. For us personally we give Allison a few things to go on but then let her "do her thing". That way we don't limit her ideas - and we are always amazed by what she comes up with. Things I could never put together or think of on my own. We are about to start the last two major rooms in our home (with several other smaller nooks and such still to address) and so far everyone that has come into our home is amazed and impressed. On a side note - Allison is both professional and a great person to work with - friendly, kind and caring. I would say she has become a family friend throughout this process. I highly recommend Allison and AHT Interiors!

Over the past year or two our family room had become uncomfortable and uninviting. Our whole family (parents included) had retreated to our respective bedrooms which meant no family time except in the car and at meals. Allison came about a month ago and did our installation. Since then, our family has started to "hang out" together every evening and reconnect.
During the design process, Allison listens carefully to your family needs for the room, learns about your sense of style, and if you have any pieces that you would like to incorporate into the room. Next she presents her design concept and usually it is right on target. If there is an item that you are unsure of, she is quick to show an alternative that pleases. Next comes the installation. We are always amazed at the beautiful transformation of our home.
Over the years Allison has decorated our complete basement, a bathroom, dining room, living room, 2 bedrooms and now she has redone our family room. We all love Allison and her work and would never consider using another designer.

My husband and I contacted AHT Interiors, Inc.when we purchased our new home. That was the best decision we made. We had never worked with a designer before and we were nervous about the outcome. Allison really listened to us and designed our master bedroom as the tranquil retreat of our dreams. Since that experience she has decorated all of the rooms in our home. The design process is fun and easy with Allison leading the way. Since then, I have been fortunate enough to become an employee of the best design firm in the Southeast. Having worked behind the scenes, I can't say enough about Allison's integrity and her fabulous designs to create a home where her clients love to live!

Allison is an great designer with an exceptional ability to take your ideas and make them a reality. It's been more than a year since we worked with Alison to transform our family room and every single day we're still 'in love' with it.

In our initial meeting, I was surprised at how much Allison listened to our ideas, looked at our 'wish list' and talked to us about how we used the room, what we wanted it to be. And all that listening paid off - when she came with the concept board it was spot on, it was exactly what we wanted without being able to make it happen on our own. From planning to install Allison's team kept us aware of materials coming in and of scheduling. When the day came for the install, we had no idea what a difference it would make for us. This one room made it feel like "home", even after having been here for years. Allison didn't give us her style, she gave us our style, a reflection of us. When people come to our home now, we're proud to share that space with them and the also share the story of how one amazing designer made it happen.
