Overall

I needed a rather large heavy timber (6" x 6" x 6ft long) cut crosswise into smaller blocks. After a couple of months of very frustrating attempts with carpenters, lumberyards, etc in the city to get it cut (either the wood was just too large for their equipment or they just didn't want to do this small job), I was referred to A & M.
Even though it was a trek to get out to Burr Ridge ("city-boy mentality"), Collin greeted me, listened to what I needed and cut it into the requested blocks on their large saw without a problem. 10 minutes from top to bottom! Not sure why it's so difficult to get jobs like this done in the city!?! But, I am very grateful for Collin's helpfulness (and freeing me from having to schlep this timber in my car anymore). I would highly recommend A & M Wood Products!!
