Just like the name you'll quickly see why it's your FIRST CHOICE! Not only are they professional, they're also efficient. They get the job done and get it done right! I'd use them again and refer them to close family and friends.

We have a rental property that tenant left us massive junks, perishable foods, piles of canned goods, scattered trash, mounting piles of emptied pop cans and filthy personal items. One day in February this year he caused a kitchen fire accident in the house; he was taken to the local hospital for smoke observation. After he was discharged, he didn’t return. We filed eviction and after 4 months of waiting time, property was returned to us. By that time the house was infested with bugs and stench of odors from rotten foods and junks. I called a local dumpster service, they refused to do the job; told me to call the junk removal specialist. I then did google search online to find sources of information. There are several junk removals companies, but I needed one that can also do the interior demolition since our property isn’t livable at all. I came upon First Choice that has received many high favorable reviews. I decided to call its office. I didn’t wait for long to get a call back from Sean. I explained to him what we needed from him. He scheduled a first visit two days later. I warned him about the extremely filthy conditions inside. He told me he wasn’t worried about ours because he has seen the worst. From his response I felt confident that he would take this very unpleasant and tough job. After the first visit, he sent me a contract proposal with itemized costs on what his team would perform. I then made text exchange several times to make sure what we wanted were included and costed in for the demolition. I paid the first required deposit; he then started the job the next day. He was very patient to go through the contract tasks and was very helpful to work with my insurance adjuster and accommodated the work assessment for the area where fire caused damages. When his truck hauling part broken down, he couldn’t get the parts soon, he texted me and showed me the picture of his problems. He was honest and kept me posted for any unforeseeable delays. I told him we would be away for two weeks and wouldn’t be able to do the final walk-through for the final work done. Sean went his way to arrange a FaceTime walk-through with us before his team packing things up to leave. Overall, Sean responds to people’s inquiries quick and pays attention to details. He executed a very efficient work schedule for us and on the last day of the work, he made sure we could see jobs were completed as contract described.
I am so glad to have good and trustworthy business relationship with Sean. I highly recommend First Choice’s services and their commitments to make sure customer satisfactions and trust are their foremost priorities.

My mother passed recently and I had the responsibility of cleaning out the house, something I was dreading to do. I hired 1st choice junk removal to help and I was absolutely taken back at the professionalism and punctuality. They were so kind and personal and just made this whole ordeal easy for me. They were on time and communicated everything!! The house looks amazing.They would absolutely be my 1st choice!!

I don't even know where to start with this company, so I'll just dive right in -I rented a dumpster bin to remove the yard debris from my new home. I contact 1st Choice via Thumbtack and communicated with them via phone and the app. Sean was initially very responsive via the app. I ordered a 20yd dumpster to start, and the next day I noticed I needed a larger dumpster. I then ordered a 2nd 20yard dumpster. When I told them to come remove the first dumpster, they came 5 days later than they said. They never brought my second dumpster. Upon their late arrival to pick up the first dumpster, they said it was too full. They sent me a picture of a dumpster much fuller than when they said they would initially pick up. This tells me the time in between my departure and their actual pickup, neighbors utilized the dumpster. This would not have happened if they picked up on the scheduled date. Instead of removing the top layer of the yard waste to comply with their contract, they emptied out the entire dumpster, leaving all the remnants on my front lawn (see attached photo). This is obviously unacceptable, not only from a Customer Service standpoint, but also this does not comply with the city and county rules and regulations. They did not provide the services I requested and paid for, in fact, they made more of a mess than when originally ordered. When I asked for a copy of the signed agreement and a receipt, they ignored my phone calls and were extremely rude via text and refused to send anything. When I attempted to dispute the charge, they threatened to put a lien on my house (photo attached)!
Buyers beware! Never use this company. I was appalled by the lack of customer service and work ethic with 1st Choice Junk Removal.
Went with Haul-My-Mess.com and they surpassed my husband's and my expectations.
Update: After writing this review, they texted me (see photo below) threatening to sue me. The below response are false claims. I requested a 2nd dumpster, they never delivered. The photo they sent me of the overflow is less than the 3 feet the claim. When I left, the dumpster had no overflow at all. They never attempted to contact until they showed up for pick up 5 DAYS after scheduled pick up. I left voicemails (b/c no one picks up the phone) ask when they intended to pick up. The reason we scheduled for a SPECIFIC date was due to conflicting plans later in the week. There was no hazardous materials as they state below.
As far as the hypothetical truck rental scenario, a truck would have been returned as scheduled avoiding any neighborhood ‘mishaps’. It would be my problem, and additional fees would have been charged, if I did not return said truck on time. However it is the enterprises problem when they do not come to pick up as they stated they would. Lastly, the name calling due to my complaint proves the lack of customer service and respect noted in my initial post. Disappointing to say the least.
