Ron Austin was amazing. He followed up with me. I felt as though he cared about me as a customer and wanted to make sure my issues were fixed. He is very polite and kind. Thank you again.

I wish I read reviews before working with this company. They hired my landscape company to do a project for a homeowner. Their plan was to tie in the price of our project with the loan of the solar deal to help the homeowner out. They paid our initial deposit and agreed to the figures. When the project was complete they requested information from us so we can get paid for our portion. After everything was sent back to 1 solar they informed us that they are not paying us and simply stopped responding to us. This company is definitely all about scamming people based off of other reviews. I am currently owed $13,500 from them and nobody has reached out to assist.

We had many setbacks with getting our solar up and running but 1Solar kept us informed on the process. In particular was Matthew Schriek who was instrumental in answering our questions and making sure everything was going well!

Not my favorite company-wish I had read these reviews before signing a contract. If Luciano comes to your door say NO!. He is good at what he does-he is a salesman and he will have you thinking you are getting a great deal with "fake" discounts that reduce their overpriced product. Get another quote before signing any documents!!! I wish we had gone with Smart Solar instead-they were over $5000 less for the same amount of panels and kwh!!! Now Luciano did tell us about monthly fees from the power company (approx $10/month), but he did not tell us that the reimbursement rate for exported customer generated energy is only $0.04745 per kWh from Oct 1 to May 31 and $0.05636 per kWh from June 1 to Sept 30 BUT you will be CHARGED $0.0798930 by the power company for each kWh used so do the math and you will see that you are only reimbursed 59-71% of what you are being charged!

Very disappointed, we had just purchased our home last January 2022 and shortly after moving in Cooper came knocking on our door. He talked to us about a program for new home owners that install solar panels, we were told that the more panels we installed we'd get a tax return of over 10k. We though that was great and liked the idea of solar panels so we moved forward w/the process. From what we are now understanding this is not the case and we will no be getting anything near 10k on our taxes which we planned to use towards our loan on the panels.

They claim to be a solar company, but they have a robust gaslighting department.
I asked for a power bank with my solar installation. After installation, I realized nobody had mentioned my power bank and found out that it had never been installed. My concierge left me a message that I was owed a refund of $10,472 in November.
In January, I called again to see when I could expect my check. The person "did some research" and called back to tell me the extra charges between contracts was not for a power bank, but for "electrical upgrades". He said the upgrades were discovered on June 26, and couldn't tell me why I had a contract from May 16 for the higher price when nobody would have known about electrical upgrades at that time. Even the salesman agreed I am due a partial refund, but this is still not resolved.
If more electrical upgrades were discovered as necessary, I'm not sure why they decided not to discuss that with me and instead apparently just applied what I was paying and leave off services I was expecting. They claim the salesman never mentioned a power bank, but the salesman said they told him that I said I didn't want it, and he didn't earn commission on it. Either way, there's a major breakdown in communication and this company ripped me off for more than $10,000. I am still exploring my options but this experience has been very stressful.
Oh, another cherry on top is that they were "so helpful" trying to get my pergola permitted (as it was constructed by the previous homeowner without a permit) and I received a letter last week that the process was not completed, so I get to deal with that too when they said they'd take care of it. Nice try, I guess.
Don't trust them with your business.
Edit: Their response is more falsehoods. If they could just answer one question, they'd have a leg to stand on: Why is my higher priced contract for BEFORE 1Solar ever set foot on my property (and found these "electrical upgrades")? Yes, my FIRST contract didn't have a battery, but my SECOND one (from 1 week after the first, and well over a month before the electrical inspection) did. I haven't received an itemized contract for either, but that's the only explanation for the price jump in one week (again, before any electrical inspection would have found more work to do). Nobody can answer that because they're lying. My concierge left me a message in November that I was due a full refund, and the salesman agrees I am due a refund (but not the full amount).
I can concede that the pergola may have been the salesman, but it definitely wasn't me, and is a part of this whole nightmare with 1Solar.
