Fantastic work! We could not be more pleased at the entire process and the finished product. Bryan took us through the design process and made sure that we were informed and pleased even though we asked for multiple revisions. They guided us through all of the permitting required. Devin and his crew were amazing and worked magic to bring everything to life. Johnny was always in touch and making sure we had the right information and also provided guidance on changes that we wanted to make. Justin and his crew has been great during the follow ups. Again, we have been super pleased with the outcome and the work. I highly recommend Alderwood!

Alderwood Landscaping were fantastic to work with, notably Tim, Alex and Johnny. But really all of the staff we ever interacted with were great. They were very organized and good at communicating what was happening when. In the planning stage, they made sure to take into account what we wanted but also came up with a great plan for using our space in the best way! The work was done within a couple of weeks and it looks fantastic! We are so pleased with the final result and can’t wait to use the space next year!

We couldn't be happier with the backyard that Alderwood created for us. It's clear that the entire Alderwood team wants you to be not only happy, but thrilled with the backyard that they create for you from start to finish.
We had an uninspiring left-to-right sloping backyard and we frankly had no clue what to do with it. We never used it other than to occasionally play lawn games.
We met with Bryan to go over basic ideas and he came back with a top-notch design that helped us realize the possibilities.
The construction crew working under Nick to execute the design was outstanding. Johnny as our project coordinator was on top of everything and Justin has provided on-going support after project completion to ensure we remain thrilled with our backyard.
I also want to mention that all the subcontractors that Alderwood used for items such as the outdoor structure, outdoor kitchen stonework, electrical and gas were all outstanding as well and worked well together as a team.

Alderwood Landscaping absolutely exceeded our expectations! They transformed our basic wooden deck into a backyard oasis that has become our favorite "room" of the house. We spend more time outside now than we do inside! A special thank you to Brian, Devin, Justin, and Johnny, who were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They walked us through every step, designed a beautiful space tailored to our needs, and always kept us informed about the progress. Have used Alderwood twice on large backyard living space projects and recommend them highly.
First, they take the time to work with you on a design (they have designers on staff) that incorporates all elements, provide you with material samples, pictures, etc. When we struggled to make decisions they took us “shopping” to see samples (light fixtures, paver types, etc) and helped us visualize. We’ve been really impressed by this process.
The construction crews are highly professional. They are thoughtful and careful with neighbors when dealing with moving equipment in and out, noise, and those kinds of things. They are great communicators and set really good expectations about project length and other details. When we asked for tweaks or changes midstream there was never any grousing or grumbling - they were very focused on making sure we were 100% happy. The guys on our crew were Colin, Max and Michael, and Patrick was the Construction Manager.
In both cases, the finished projects were even more stunning than we expected. Top notch.

Alderwood exceeded our expectations. Tim understood our vision and created a modern, elegant, and functional design. Johnny's advice on materials to use for the patio, walls and lighting was spot on. I had originally picked a product that I thought would work, however, after our first meeting I realized I made the wrong choice. I was thrilled he provided his opinion. We were pleasantly surprised that our job started earlier than the original estimated date and that it was finished in a shorter timeframe than expected. Devin, Jose, Jose and Santos were fantastic. The crew was here on time and ready to go every day and they worked very consistently all day. They kept me informed on any changes that arose and gave me daily updates on progress and next steps. Alderwood was very professional and they delivered on all of our expectations. I have recommended them to many of my neighbors and friends with no hesitation and am currently working with them on a project for my front yard. We worked with Alderwood to design and build our dream back and front yard. Tim Glass did a wonderful job listening to our needs and designing exactly what we were looking for including selecting plantings for our yard. Devin was an amazing lead on the project. His crew was always on-time and the quality of their work was impeccable. If there was ever an issue with something, they were very quick to respond. The picture's speak for themselves.

The Alderwood team is top notch. We are so happy with the final product. And unlike many home contracting projects, the journey was also pleasant, even fun! From the landscape architect, to the project planner, to the build site manager and his team, Alderwood's team is incredibly professional, responsive to communication and feedback, and focused on excellence in their work and product.
The thoughtfulness of the design, the attention to detail, and the quality workmanship have resulted in a backyard my family will enjoy for years.

We just finished our second project with Alderwood and they did an amazing job AGAIN! Tim Glass designed both our projects and they turned out incredible. Tim, Dann Van Hook and Seth Kernodle met with us multiple times during the design phase and they had great ideas and suggestions that we incorporated into our project.
Once the project started, the crew on the ground (led by Jordan) executed the design flawlessly. Jordan and his team worked diligently all day in sweltering heat, cleaned up every night and they were always professional and friendly. It’s obvious they take great pride in their work and I can’t say enough great things about how well the Alderwood team communicates. Kudos to the entire team (Tim, Dann, Seth, Jordan, Brady, Landon and Harry) – you all made our project enjoyable and we will miss seeing you!

We used Alderwood Landscaping for our backyard project this spring. We are very pleased with the transformation of our new space. Starting with the design with Tim, to the build out with Craig and his crew, everything was done professionally, timely and with attention to detail. Craig’s crew was a pleasure to work with and Jeff built an outdoor structure that we love. They helped us develop a vision for our space and brought it to life in a way that was better than expected. We used Alderwood to redesign and redo our landscaping. It was an incredible experience. Our landscape architect and project manager, Tim Glass and Johnny Struiksma, met with us multiple times to perfect our design and had great ideas we adopted. Our crew chief, Patrick, was super friendly and responsive to our requests. His crew of three others worked hard and well together and went above and beyond to make us happy. Our project was completed on time and exceeded our expectations. Alderwood is expensive but you absolutely get what you pay for. They are a highly professional and capable team. We couldn’t be happier with the experience of working with them and our new yard.

I am absolutely impressed with Alderwood Lanscaping.
Rarely in my experience construction has been so smooth, from planning, to execution, to cleanup. Good landscape architecture and great scheduling, ability to stay on top of sub contractors, amazing crew for actual construction.
In our case, we also had really tough drainage problems that they were able to solve flawlessly.
We worked with Tim Glass for architecture, Jonathan Struiksma for scheduling and management, and our construction crew was led by Nick Lane.
Across the board amazing service, even the ones I haven't mentioned here.
