HORRIBLE EMPLOYEE I visited the Apple orchard with three of my great friends. We were enjoying our time picking apples and wanted to take a picture together. We were setting up to take a picture next to their petting zoo barn, next to a tree that was changing in color. As we were about to take the picture an employee came walking over from the gift shop screaming “that area is off limits. If you payed to pet the animals, walk to the front of the building.” Us girls looked at each other very confused because we were only taking a picture. We decided to move to the side walk to take a cute picture in front of their wooden barn door. The employee turned around on her walk back and then continued to scream, “Did you hear me?????” I kindly asked, “I’m sorry, can we just take a picture in front of this door?” She said “ummm NOOO.” And then proceeded to walk off. My friends and I felt very uncomfortable. We decided that we would just leave, because we didn’t feel comfortable there anymore. We are all displeased with the service and will continue to laugh about how rude and ridiculous the women was who decided to scream at us for taking a picture. We will never go back.

I was having a great time. We seen all the animals and fed them. Until we went into the store and were rudely yelled at by an employee for asking a simple question about apple cider.

Apple picking at Apple Valley is an annual event, driving up from Indiana to join my sisters & brothers in a flurry of fun! The apples are easy to pick and they have great trees & excellent variety for eating or cooking!

Had a wonderful Saturday with family picking apples, choosing pumpkins and gourds and petting animals. Highly recommended for families with little ones.

My home builder referred me to this company for a project years ago. They were prompt and affordable. I contacted my home builder again this year for another project I needed to have done. The owner is horrible. He called me with an attitude right off the bat, said he would call me back with an estimate and never did- with his jackass attitude I really didn’t expect him to anyway . I called my home builder to tell him not to use this company anymore, and will never refer anyone to this company again. I do so many home projects that everyone asks me for references on who to use- apple valley will never be suggested!

Decent Apple picking experience. We go here, for the small petting zoo experience in the back. They offer food for the animals, for $1/cup. Don't let the goats eat it all, save some for the miniature horses in the back!

This orchard has a ton of great options of which apples you might want to get. We had a rough idea of what we wanted, but came out with flavors we didn't know existed, on top of having a great time!
