I highly recommend Basic Electric Service! Today Donnie and Chris repaired wiring changes that had been incorrectly installed by a previous electrician. They also created a new labeled plan of all fuses. The work was done efficiently and priced fairly. They provided excellent service!

Bill and Clay came to our home after our breaker flipped and an extension chord caught fire in our basement. They were very thorough and kind. They made sure we felt 100% safe before leaving. We can't thank them enough for the peace of mind. Definitely recommend them to anyone in need.

If I could, I'd give these folks more than 5 stars! My relatively new home was built with defective breakers (it was a Siemens problem, not the original electricians) but my home is out of warranty and the builder's company kept ignoring me. So I called BES, and they have come out two separate times, each time the wait for an appointment was minimal, the office/phone staff are wonderful, and the techs have been knowledgable, and made repairs quickly and efficiently.

I demanded they change the plugs in our unit. The owner claims, a 15 amp and a 20 amp plug is the same; when on a 20 amp circuit. He stated it was a common practice, to use a 15 amp plug, on a 20 amp circuit, the only difference is the horizontal part of the plug. My father is a master electrician and I wired many houses and buildings with him. I have never put a 15 amp on a 20 amp circuit. Or ever saw him put a 15 amp plug on 20 amp circuit. If they were the same why would they make two different sizes. Plus, if you read the back of the 15 amp plug it state #14 ONLY. 20 amp is #12 which is bigger. DON’T use them, they are creating fire hazards.

Fantastic experience! I recently had a full panel replacement and some wiring run for a concurrent project. From the office staff to the field technicians, this was a fantastic crew to work with. Basic is right, and even that is more advanced than their company.
Claimed that they were unable, and did not know how to write a check for reimbursement.
Apprentices should keep their eye out. They'll take your tools.

5 stars for these guys. We had a fire in the wall and had to have the wiring and outlet replaced. The 2 guys were so personable, very quick, and did a really good job. The price was very reasonable. We will definitely be calling them from now on when we need electricians. I highly recommend them. Thanks!

Contacted Basic Electric on Thursday, they came out the very next morning and fixed our issue in less than half an hour. They were early to our appointment time (but gave us a heads up before arriving), very professional and courteous, and did a great job. Thank you so much!

I called on a Thursday & they were able to send an electrician out first thing Friday morning! The electrician was prompt, knowledgeable, and friendly. He quickly installed the fans and explained everything in great detail. These guys will be my go to electricians from now on!
